How IBARA rewards work
IBARA runs on two engines: a community that creates and appreciates, and a commercial side that earns revenue from advertising and sponsors. Part of what the platform earns flows back to the community through the Community Reward Pool.
The Community Reward Pool
Each month IBARA totals its qualifying revenue, subtracts direct costs, payment costs, a fraud reserve and an operating reserve, then targets around 20% of what remains for the community. That amount is the pool. Your share is your weighted eligible points divided by the community total. Points are a measure of contribution — they have no fixed cash value.
Activity Points (VAP)
Earned by taking part: sharing moments, appreciating other creators, commenting, following and being genuinely present. Daily and monthly caps keep it fair.
Growth Points (VGP)
Earned when you help IBARA grow: shares that bring real visitors, and referrals who join and stay. Growth Points carry a higher weight than Activity Points.
Sharing
Each share creates a tracked link. When a genuine new visitor arrives through it, you earn. Repeat visits from the same person, bots and self-clicks earn nothing.
Referrals
Your referral link credits you across milestones: registration, completed profile, first photo, 7 days active and 30 days active. Monthly caps apply to rewards, never to inviting.
Point states
AVAILABLE counts toward this month's pool. PENDING is awaiting validation. FROZEN is under review. REVERSED was removed after a fraud finding. EXPIRED has aged out.
The monthly reward cycle
Earning → month closes → revenue is finalised → a financial safety check runs → settlement distributes the approved pool by weighted eligible points.
Estimated rewards
Estimates are exactly that. They move with real revenue, real costs and how active everyone else is. Nothing is promised until a month is settled.
Withdrawals
Only confirmed, settled rewards can be withdrawn, above a minimum amount. Requests are reviewed by the team before payment.
Fraud prevention
Every award is decided server-side with deduplication, rate limits, behavioural checks and a trust score. Suspicious points are frozen or reversed rather than deleted.
Financial safety
IBARA never distributes money it hasn't earned. Only finalised qualifying revenue counts, costs and reserves come out first, and allocation is automatically reduced or paused if margins get thin.
How sponsors benefit the community
Sponsors do not replace what the community earns — they add to it. Sponsor money is tracked separately from the reward pool, and anything a sponsor commits to prizes is set aside before pool calculations, so sponsor-funded prizes can never reduce community rewards.
More challenges
Sponsors fund additional themed moments and seasonal events.
Better prizes
Prizes that the community alone could not fund.
Creator opportunities
Paid features, commissions and brand collaborations for creators.
Platform improvements
Better storage, faster delivery and new tools.
Community events
Meetups, exhibitions and local showcases.
Long-term sustainability
Revenue that keeps IBARA independent and running.
